The work about Nové Nové Sady is solving place around avenue Nové Sady in a situation where the main railway station does not move into the Southern city center but is retained in its current location. The project is focused on urban sites where is now very low density. A large part of the land is occupied by the railway constructions. The aim was to create a functioning urban structure with high population density combined with smaller offices and shops. An important feature is the rise up density of the existing urban structure. Emphasis is placed on the views of the dominant Petrov Spilberk that this area offers.

Usability of municipalities association for the construction investment

This thesis aims to analyze and then update publicly accessible register of clusters of municipalities in South - Moravian region. Work is based on specific research for the Science Center of Faculty of Civil Engineering AdMaS. Name of the research is "Leveraging the register of clusters of municipalities for the needs of marketing research and development at FAST." Within this research were added to the register certain information, such as E-mail address, website, revenues for the last three years, etc. and the entire register was processed in the form of a relational database. From this relational databases were created outputs in the form of tables and charts to scholarly articles. Furthermore, this work updated maps of technical equipment with municipal water conduit and sewerage. To these maps are drawn in municipal unions with corresponding activities. Thereafter are designed some expansion options and are used clusters of municipalities for investment purposes.

Rural changes after World War II in the former Horšovský Týn district

The target of this diploma thesis is the transformation of the countryside after the Second World War in the territory of the former district of Horšovský Týn, whose existence is defined in the years 1945-1960. The work, based on the study of primary sources from the State District Archive of Domažlice, located in Horšovský Týn (primarily from the ONV Horšovský Týn resource), the study of periodicals and secondary literature creates a picture of the post-war border district, which had to go through a series of revolutionary changes during its existence. The work follows the demographic development of the Horšovský Týn district, including the displacement of the German-speaking population and the subsequent settlement of the region by a new Czech population. Using the example of the memoirs of Walter Bernklau, who as a German was deported from Czechoslovakia after the Second World War, the work shows what fates the German-speaking population had to go through during the deportation and what awaited them in their new home. The second half of the work is mainly devoted to the development of agriculture in the region, the history of auxiliary cooperatives in the district of Horšovský Týn in the years 1945-1948 and the collectivization of the region after 1949. Application of prospective indicators of demographic ageing at the district level in Czechia

Application of prospective indicators of demographic ageing at the district level in Czechia Abstract The objective of this study is to analyze differences in the level of demographic ageing using prospective indicators at the LAU 1 level of the regions (districts) of Czechia in the periods 2006-2010, 2015-2019 and 2017-2021. The second objective is to compare the results of the analysis of prospective indicators with the results of a retrospective approach and to compare the differences between individual periods. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be stated that the districts Praha-západ and Praha-východ are among the youngest LAU 1 regions in Czechia. The most affected by demographic aging are the districts of the Ústecký kraj (e.g. Most, Teplice), as well as the districts Bruntál, Jeseník and Sokolov. For almost all LAU 1 regions, the values of prospective indicators increased between individual periods (with the exception of constant prospective age). The highest differences between the values of prospective and retrospective indicators are achieved by the districts in the period 2015-2019. Application of the Theory of Coalitions on Regional Level

This article aims to analyse the process of constitute district's counsils in Czech Republic after elections in 2000 and 2004. At first it defines the theory of games, theory of rational choice and theory of coalition and it gives their interpretation. It also talks about electoral and party systems as factors which influence the formation of coalitions. Afterwards it focuses on the electoral period since 2000 and it evaluates the results of election to the representative districts in Czech Republic. It talks about the electoral period after 2004 in detail. Generally it evaluates the results of election and compares the theoretical precondition with the origin coalition. Hyperlocal Media in the Czech Republic

The aim of this master's thesis is to introduce hyperlocal media in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part, the topic of hyperlocal media will be presented from the viewpoint of professional and citizen-journalism, user-generated content, participatory culture, role of watchdog and civic engagement. This thesis will also provide a definition and specification of hyperlocal media, circumstance of origin, their position, financial site and their future. Furthermore, another part of this thesis will also introduce some of the external projects, whereas the practical part will carefully examine fourteen hyperlocal media bodies in the Czech Republic; one medium of each region of the Czech Republic respectively. Specifically, the analysis is aimed towards graphical editing and thematical structure of hyperlocal media. The second practical part offers qualitative analysis of semi-structured interviews with the creators of the investigated hyperlocal media. The subjects of the interviews are primarily from the point of view of motivation, financial site, position and future of hyperlocal media. Outsourcing of public services by municipalities

This master thesis deals with outsourcing in public sector specially focused on one type of public services. There are three main goals of this thesis: to describe outsourcing in public services, to determine methodology of evaluation forms of providing public services and as a case study to compare past and current form of providing public service called Publishing city hall magazine in Prague 7. Firstly, the thesis describes outsourcing in public sector in general, highlights current trends and future development of outsourcing. Secondly, the theoretical part determines evaluation criteria that are used in the practical part for comparison of the two forms of providing the above mentioned public service in Prague 7. Moreover, the criteria are applied to compare the same public service among 10 Prague districts. The result of the case study shows that the current form of publishing city hall magazine in Prague 7 is less expensive and the magazine has better quality than the previous one.
